Kazaviti is probably the most beautiful and picturesque mountain village. It is just 4 km from Prinos and 20 km from the port. It is divided into Small and Big Kazaviti, only 500m far one from the other. It is also known by the name of Small and Big Prinos respectively. Ceramics and towers found in the area indicate that the place has been inhabited since 400 B.C. The area is famous for the good meat, vineyards and wine. You will find traditional taverns and cafés under the trees. The village is crossed by many canals.
One of the characteristics of Kazaviti is the architecture of the stone houses with the slate roofs, wooden balconies and painted ceilings. The houses have been left untouched by time as they were gradually abandoned in 1960s. However, in recent years they began to be repaired and maintained by their owners.
