Archaeological Museum of Kos

In the Archaeological Museum of Kos you can see the findings (from Hellenistic till post Roman times) that were discovered during excavations carried out on the island since the beginning of the century until today, mainly from the archaeological sites of the Ancient Agora, the West archaeological site, the altar of Dionysus, the Odeon and the Roman House (Casa Romana).

The building was built in 1935 and is comprised of two floors. It is located on Eleftherias Square and it is considered a preserved monument of the time of the Italian occupation. On the ground floor you will see the most important sculptures and mosaics.
