Due to its volcanic activity and post-volcanic hydrothermal activity, Milos has many hot springs which are known since antiquity for their healing properties. The thermal baths of Milos were known even to Hippocrates who talks about them in his book "Epidemics." The temperature and composition of the water varies depending on the hot spring. The most important of them are listed below:
Lakkou Adamas
- Temperature: 33-41 C⁰, depending on sea level and weather
- Composition: Geothermal sulphide, ferrous, chlorinated
Charou Adamas
- Temperature: up to 85 C⁰
- Composition: Chlorinated, salted springs
Alykes
- These hot springs are located north of Aliki in a cave with a narrow entrance.
- Temperature: 28-40 C⁰
- Composition: Chlorinated, Radioactive

- Temperature: 65 - 90 C⁰
- Composition: Sulphide, Fumaroles
Paleochori
- Temperature: 65-90 C⁰
- Composition: Sulphide, salted springs
Tria Pigadia
- Temperature: 33 - 41 C⁰

Kanava
- The water of this thermal bath treats arthritis.
- Temperature: up to 50 C⁰
